What should I do if I encounter difficulties with material powder in the application of belt conveyors?
What should I do if I encounter difficulties with material powder in the application of belt conveyors? It may be due to quality issues with the machinery or incorrect operating methods. The key causes of material powder are generally the scattering when the concave section drive belt is inclined at 45 degrees, the scattering when the direction deviates, and the scattering at the load point. Follow the conveyor belt below for practical understanding.
1、 Spraying when the concave section drive belt is tilted at 45 degrees.
When the angle between the concave sections of the transmission belt is small, the transmission belt tilts 45 degrees due to special circumstances. At this time, the situation of the transmission belt forming a groove changes because the transmission belt has already left the groove shaped buffer roller group, and the groove angle is generally reduced, causing some raw materials to scatter out. Due to this, it is possible to apply a large concave angle as deemed appropriate in the pre setting process to avoid such situations. If the concave section is pre-set as a non curved connection section on the belt conveyor and stacker reclaimer equipment in order to better reduce the tail car, it is easier to feed powder when the total width of the transmission belt is small.
2、 Sprinkle material when the direction deviates.
The scattering of material when the direction of the belt conveyor drive belt deviates is due to the change in the aspect ratio of the two edges of the drive belt during operation, with one side being higher and the other side being lower. The raw material is sprayed from the lower side, and the solution is to adjust the direction deviation of the drive belt.
3、 Sprinkle material at the load point.
The key to feeding powder at the load point is at the drop bin, guide chute, and other locations. If the belt conveyor is severely cut off, the vulcanized rubber side skirt of the guide groove is damaged, and the thick steel plate at the guide groove is pre-set far away from the transmission belt, the vulcanized rubber side skirt is too long, causing the raw material to break through the guide groove.
